Established in the eighties by Cathy Barker, Meldon Catering has adapted, changed  and developed over  the years and is now based on the outskirts of Edinburgh at Midlothian Innovation Centre.Whilst we are not the biggest outside catering company in Scotland - we like to think that we can give you the freshest of  ingredients,  the most innovative menus, the friendliest and most professional  staff and perhaps that individuality that you just don't get from the bigger companies.

It's one of our missions to work with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients and to try and give you the best that Scotland has to offer. To this end a lot of our small suppliers are based in the Scottish Borders and provide us with the best locally sourced products that we can find ( some of it organic) from Tweedside honey to Border Beef.

 The following pages will give you some ideas but they are only a small selection of our foods. We are happy to arrange a consultation prior to any event and listen to your ideas, discuss your budget and then come up with menus to suit.

Each event is unique and we like to think that we can provide a unique eating experience for you  whether its a special birthday at home, a wedding or a corporate event.
